March Madness

Fireworks at the Fringe Opening

Hello!

How cool is Adelaide in April and March? It's like the city just suddenly wakes up and every street has something awesome going on.

Waymouth Street Party

I've discovered there are ups and downs to living in the city during festival time.

The ups are living so close to everything, seeing amazing street art and performers every time you walk to the supermarket and not having to battle the traffic/parking queues.

Royal Croquet Club

The downside is living so close to everything gives you extreme FOMO. It's hard to sit inside and have a lazy night watching MKR when outside your window you can see or hear exciting things going on.

Watching the crowds from our lounge room

I feel like I've done my best to experience as much as I can this year, but I still feel like I missed a lot. *sigh* Next year I will do better. :P

Garden of Unearthly Delights

There's still a few days left to experience the madness people!

So it's been a while

Hello!

Isn't it weird how life gets in the way of blogging? I can't believe it has been so many months since I last posted, and I don't have a very good excuse. Work got quite busy, winter set in, heat waves started. Yep, no good excuse.

So here is a quick catch up blog post!

We had the best seat in the house!

Adelaide Uni looking gorgeous in late Spring

I've spent a lot of time at the museum, and spent a bit of money at the shop. How awesome is this poster?

My dog has been happy with the warmer weather, and has been making the most of North Adelaide's ovals!
Beers at the Belgium Beer Cafe

...And beers at the beach (my dad's choice, don't judge me!)

Christmas in the city

Santa looming over the city like a Christmas version of Pacific Rim.

..And finally, a photo from the Botanics today. I took a picnic blanket, a thermos,  a book and my phone (for photos!) and had the most relaxing hour I have had of late. Definitely recommend!

Hopefully it won't take 6 months before the next update.

Love,
